Returning to my Body, My Vessel, My Temple, My Body
Returning to my Body, My Vessel, My Temple, My Body

This linocut centers on the human body as a sacred site where healing, liberation, and inner awareness converge. It functions as a kind of visual ritual, inviting the viewer to witness, reflect, and perhaps locate their own sense of “sanctuary within.”

Sanctuary Within is not just an image carved into linoleum; it is an act of return. The bold contrast, carved linework, and graphic clarity reflect traditional printmaking, influenced by folk prints. A quiet insistence that healing is possible, even when the body remembers what the mind tries to move past. Through the repetition of carving, I process what cannot be spoken directly: trauma, memory, the subtle imprints of living in a world that both nurtures and wounds.
